Philanthropy Offering

A unique comprehensive services offering from a team dedicated to the wealthiest clients of BNP Paribas Wealth Management. Establishing a philanthropic project is a very personal matter. A preliminary discussion with our Philanthropy Advisors will enable you to be guided towards the most appropriate solution for your own personal circumstances.

  • The "Fondation de l’Orangerie" for Individual Philanthropy: a simple way of making donations. Created by BNP Paribas to collect your donations and allot them efficiently to rigorous, transparent and original projects. It ensures the good use of the funds and provides a detailed report once the chosen projects are implemented and whilst they’re carried out. Donators can therefore benefit from all the tax advantages associated with private donations, to the extent permitted by law in their country of tax residence.

  • Personalised Philanthropic Advisory: a platform for tailoring services to clients’ needs.
According to your circumstances and needs, a wide range of services may be subscribed. Personalised Philanthropic Advisory covers four areas: strategy, structuring, implementation and appraisal.

BNP Paribas Prize for Individual PhilanthropyAwarded each year by a jury of independent, internationally-recognised experts, this Prize - in partnership with the International Herald Tribune - distinguishes two philanthropists for their remarkable initiatives: the first for overall accomplishments (the Grand Prize), and the second for exemplary personal implication in an original project (the Special Prize). Every two years, this prize is accompanied by a conference on Philanthropy and Sustainable Development.

Surveys and research - Wealth and Philanthropy In addition to our Philanthropy Offering, materialised by the creation in 2008 of the Fondation de l'Orangerie for Individual Philanthropy and by the launching the same year of Personal Advisory services, Wealth Management through its very activity has the possibility of informing and raising awareness. That is why we are pleased to present the first qualitative study on Wealth and Philanthropy in Continental Europe, designed to better understand the determining factors behind European philanthropists' actions and offer insights into their behaviour and motivations.
